GamersInfo has posted a Horizons interview featuring Roger Hantz. Anne McCaffrey refused to comment on the use of dragons, but did say this:

" Roger "Rawdge" Hantz joined the Tulga team last year and has had a hand in helping to stabilize the online world of Horizons and solidify the content since his first days on the job. As a Content and System Designer, Roger is responsible for breaking down each item/program to be placed in the game, planning its development cycle and then implementing that cycle. Without him, there would be no path to follow. A die-hard fan of the game, Roger is unique in that he brings to the team a player's perspective. Along with that, he has a talent for writing. Once certain areas of the game stabilize he can help flesh out the long-requested lore. "

  • It's dark. It's light. You know it... whoo!

Don't worry, Michael Jackson has nothing to do with the upcoming MMO "Dark and Light" -your kids can safely play. But will they want to? onRPG.com sits down with Alzar, DnL's mysterious surnameless community co-ordinator, to get somewhat of an answer for ya.

What sets [Dark and Light] apart from other MMOs?

Immersion is the key word. I invite you to climb up a mountain and to take a flight with your glider, this will change your life forever. You can do anything you want in Dark and Light: be a figher, a politician, a foreteress ruler... If you see a mountain at 50 kilometers far and say "I'm sure that the view can be fine out there", you can do it! the unique huge world is completly yours.

Whoa, I've never seen a game promise to "change your life forever." Maybe if you read through the Dark and Light interview at onRPG.com, you'll discover that the game will cure cancer and end tyranny the world over!

  • Crusading, so you don't have to.
TenTonHammer.com locked Darrin McPherson of Sigil in a room and wouldn't let him go until he told us about Paladins in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. Bridgette Fonda pouted and exclaimed:

" Paladins, our defenders of light and all that is good. We've had a taste of what is to come with this noble class. However, we wanted more information. TinyRebel, our Paladin class specialist submitted these questions and concerns about the Vanguard: Saga of Heroes Paladin. We were fortunate enough to have Darrin McPherson, answer these questions for us. It looks like the Paladin is going to remain the trusty steadfast class that we've come to know and love over the years. "

  • There be dragons, and they be cool.
TenTonHammer.com interrogated Jason Murdick, a Tulga Games programmer who works on Horizons. The interrogation featured dragons, the past, present, and strangely, even the future. Reese Witherspoon declined to be interviewing, stating:

" Much like Colonel Klink of Hogan's Heroes we have ways of making people talk. Our victim today is Jason Murdick of Tulga Games, who will be splling the beans on Horizons. "

  • The Saga of Ryzom folks keep talking...
MMORPG.com has posted their Saga of Ryzom R2 - Developer Diary #4. This time they wrote it themselves and it features a hypothetical player building a hypothetical scenario. Hypothetically of course. Ellen Degeneres, or Ellen Degenerate as we like to call her flamboyantly stated:

" This article describes one possible player-made 'adventure' scenario for the Ryzom Ring. If you are new to this series of articles, The Ryzom Ring, also known as R², is the groundbreaking new extension for Nevrax’s science fantasy massively multiplayer role-playing game, The Saga of Ryzom. "

  • The interrogation continues.
MMORPG.com has posted a copy of content already available on the official Saga of Ryzom site. Let's call it their Ryzom Ring (R2) - Developer Diary #3. Jerry Seinfeld screamed plagiarism, then screamed it again because it's a funny sounding word. When he calmed down he said this:

"In this article, we are going to leave the description of R² tools to one side (for a while) and more generally focus on the “service” provided with the Ryzom Ring extension. Here, the word “service” encompasses all the peripheral features provided alongside the tools for creating and running scenarios. In this article, we will focus on the concepts of collaboration and sharing between pioneers. "

  • Tell Us About The Toons.
Vanguard Spheres has posted a Vanguard: Saga of Heroes Interview focusing on the character appearance. While getting more plastic surgery to change his appearance Michael Jackson screamed out:

" Well, let me tell you about some of my favorites. As a huge fantasy fan I’ve always loved the classic Tolkien mythos of Elves and Dwarves and all that goes with Middle Earth. I’ve always wanted to bring his words to the canvas, just like every other artist with a passion for fantasy art. So, we’ll have those races, as most games of our genre do, but I do hope ours capture that spirit he gave them in a way that has not been done before in a game. We have modeled some amazing faces and body types. Currently, we’re working on more outfitting for them and adding animations. Body language is so important when it comes to communicating attitude, and that has to be done by hand, by an artist that can feel it. Mo-cap is a great jumping off point, for there are surely details there that are so subtle that no one could reproduce them in a timely fashion without aid. "

  • Talk! Talk! Talk!
GamerGod has posted a Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach interview featuring product marketing manager, Alex Rodberg. The interview covers many aspects of the game and as is the norm with Grimwell, is well written. Richard Simmons cried and cried and cried, and then he cried some more before saying:

" GenCon was almost a month ago, but the data collected there is still rolling! While I was at the convention I was able to speak with Alex Rodberg, Product Marketing Manager, and Dave Eckleberry, Senior Games System Designer, for Dungeons & Dragons Online. "
