  • Take me to your leader Irthling.
RPGVault has posted some fancy new Irth Online screenshots. P. Diddy, or excuse us, Diddy, shortened his name, but refused vehemently to say this:

" Magic Hat Software's Irth Online is a fantasy-themed persistent state project said to emphasize role-playing and letting players determine their own in-game experience. Officially announced in April, it's currently in beta and targeted to launch within the coming months. The setting is an expansive environment in which a fragile peace exists among three diverse civilizations, the northern Arcadians, swamp-dwelling Morbus and tropical Mezoteks. Key features and elements that seem likely to interest players who prefer open-ended virtual worlds include a free-form storyline and a skill system in which it's said characters can learn any ability without racial or class-based restrictions. "

  • Do heroes get their pictures taken in those little mall booths?
MMORPG has some new Hero's Journey screenshots for your viewing pleasure. Doc Oc scoffed at the use of the word hero, and then ran off before saying:

" The look of Hero's Journey continues to evolve as today we get two
action shots that include the newest playable race "the suwari". "

  • Fancy pictures of a game you can't play yet.
The official Tabula Rasa site has posted some new screenshots of the upcoming Richard Garriott title. Fanbois of Lord British have begun tatooing the following on their buttocks:

"This is a test of the emergency description system. Had the folks responsible for posting the Tabula Rasa screenshots actually posted descriptions you would have been able to read them here. Remember, this is only a test. Had there been a real emergency we would be watching Stargate SG-1 and missing it anyway. "

  • Ever want to just slay an orc or two?
LotRO's newest screenshot might just fuel that urge. This game looks great, and if you don't believe me...

"[Ed. Note: I was going to paste the UUCode for the image here, since there's no description. But since very few of us can down UUCode straight, without a viewer of some sort, I figured you might better enjoy clicking on the link below for instant visual gratification.]"

The official Star Trek Online website has some new screenshots. In a scene that ended on the cutting-room floor, Jean-Luc Picard turned to Riker and said:

" This is a test of the emergency description system. Had the guys at Star Trek Online taken 35 seconds out of their lives to post descriptions of their screenshots you would be reading them here. Remember, this is only a test. In the case of a real emergency you would find us running in circles like schoolgirls with mice in our hair. "

  • Dragon Glamour Photos.
TheTheGame has posted some Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach screenshots. Courtney Love was unavailable for comment, but are relatively sure that she is part dragon. We are also relatively sure that she has never said the following:

" "Dungeons & Dragons Online" will let players travel alone or in parties as they explore the seemingly endless dungeon complexes found beneath the world. Through the dungeons, players will engage in physical and magical combat with hideous foes straight from the pages of the "Monster Manual"(TM) rulebook. "

  • Evil, dirty, living in the city, and we don't mean the roaches in your local burger joint.
Pro-G has some new City of Villains screenshots for your viewing pleasure. Rob Zombie, though not undead himself did sing Living Dead Girl. He did not, however, sing the following:

"This is a test of the emergency description system. In the event that the guys at Pro-G had taken 10 seconds out of their lives to post descriptions of the City of Villains screenshots mentioned above you would have read them here. Remember, this is only a test. In the event of a true emergency we would be hiding under our desks."

  • Shiny pictures of a game you can't play.
Turbine has posted some fancy new screenshots from Lord of the Rings Online. We are confident that Sean Astin did not, in fact, say the following:

" This is a test of the emergency description system. Had Turbine actually taken 20 seconds to post a description of their new screenshots you would have read it here. Remember, this is only a test. "

MMORPG has posted some new Auto Assault screenshots. NetDevils and NetAngels clashed in the wastes for the fourth time in five days. The NetGods didn't have this to day:

" We move the weekly series to Thursdays, as we continue with part two of four: Highways. Below are four exclusive images directly from NetDevil that show off the game's highway system. "
