  • If you have been living in a box and missed out on Guild Wars then you are in luck.
Gameshark has written up a review of Guild Wars. We are almost sure that they wrote this:

"The game is unique even if you ignore the fact that you don't need a
credit card to play. There's a level 20 "cap" in place which at first seems rather odd; other games have caps that are much, much higher but as ArenaNet is quick to point out: the game really starts at level 20. That's when it gets particularly good. This is not a game about grinding for four hours to reach the next level. It's about telling a story in true RPG fashion combined with a fantastic PvP (player vs. player) model that demands teamwork, skill, and smarts."

  • Please, if the sun rises tomorrow take a few minutes and get a World of Warcraft review out there so folks can tell if it's good or not.
Quandary has written a review of World of Warcraft. They might have written this:

"So before I start this review I have to say that I can't compare WOW with any other MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), and please excuse me if I get any of the jargon wrong. What I intend to do is call on my long experience of CRPGs. I should also point out that I am playing on a pve (player vs. environment) as opposed to a pvp (player vs. player) server, so not once have I been attacked by another player outside of duelling which I've tried a couple of times. So life is easy in this respect."

  • If you play Guild Wars, for the love of Pete please write a review about it. There are hardly any out there. /cough
The Armchair Empire reviews Guild Wars. We are relatively confident that they wrote this:

"For all of the accolades that online RPGs have gotten over the years, there has always been a chorus of gamers who say, “Well, that’s cool and all, but I’m not paying a monthly fee for one of these things.”  Enter Guild Wars, which takes this whole pay-to-play concept and tosses it out the window.  This in and of itself is a pretty neat approach an online role-playing, but it doesn’t mean a whole lot if the rest of the game isn’t very good.  Thankfully that isn’t the case here, as Guild Wars provides wonderful visuals, well-paced battles, a story that players actually want to learn more about, and a very strong player versus player component, all of which can be enjoyed with others, or all by your lonesome if you’re so inclined."
