Atriarch is the pride and joy of the independent developers, World Fusion. Taking place on the alien world of Atriana. Characters in the game can choose from five playable alien species, each possessing their own special traits and abilities. Set in the truly massive world of Atriana, which covers over a million square kilometers, the development team hopes to have thousands of players able to access the world at the same time.

In development since 1998, the building of Atriarch has been a fundamentally slow process due to the size and scope of the project and the comparatively small assortment of developers working on the project. With a constantly updated website, the Atriarch team hopes to release the game in the near future.

Currently in development, Atriarch is a 3-D, massively-multiplayer online, persistent game from World Fusion depicting life on the alien and organic world of Atriana. Features include player housing and construction (where players can build their own home or a whole town), pacifist character advancement available (your character can advance without killing, if you'd like), and the effects of RPG, strategy and empire building games all rolled into one game.

Character advancement can occur not only through combat, but also through building up cities. The crafting system will provide a system of advancement that will never require you to fight if you don't want to. Players actions can affect the future environment and politics of Atriana.
