  • Relay Race

If you haven't found your way into the world of Internet Relay Chat, now is a great time to start. A lot of MMO players —particularly the Guild Wars PvP community—use IRC as a means of connecting, socializing, and organizing.

As for IRC etiquette, well, it varies from place to place. With all of them, I suggest "idling" or lurking for awhile to get a sense of the community before you jump in. The Guild Wars community isn't always very nice to "newbies," so be braced for some nastiness if you start peppering inhabitants with questions. Usually, there will be a few people who are happy to help new comers (me, for one!) but don't take it personally if someone hollers something mean about your lack of omniscience. That's just IRC for you.

Curious yet? Then read on at Guild Wars - TenTonHammer!

  • Keying Up

Sure, it isn't too difficult to figure out basic movement in Guild Wars, especially if you've played a lot of video games in your time. However, if you're new to the game—and maybe even if you aren't—there could be some highly useful commands you haven't found yet.

If you're getting tired of level 60 WoW instances and you've decided to dust off your subscription-free Guild Wars account in time for the Factions expansion release next week, you might be due for a refresher. Especially if, like me, you've lost the manual!

Our TenTonHammer crew made a list of their favourite important commands at Guild Wars - TenTonHammer.

  • Blast through the early Biomek levels!

What's the difference between a level 1 biomek in Auto Assault and a level 10 biomek? About 130 action-packed quests! In keeping with trademark biomek efficiency, TenTonHammer now offers a level 1-10 biomek walkthrough to ensure a 99.67% rate of fast, fun progression through the early levels!

Give Maslow the supplies, and you'll get [3] Drive Carefully, a waypoint-scripted Fedex mission to Agent Vestige in the northeast part of the region. She offers three quests [3] Drain the Swamp, [3] Over the Top, and [3] Refreshments. These all take you southward; you'll easy accomplish the first two along the eastern side of the road (clear the Crawlers and pump the pools of goo clear, then go up and over the two "ramp-nests" to spawn the Breeders - they're huge, but easy marks).

Check out the Biomek level 1 through 10 walkthrough at Auto Assault - TenTonHammer... if for no other reason than this: resistance is futile!

  • Holographic Hunters!!

While hunting Biomeks might be a difficult task, hunting for Bounty Hunter information shouldn’t be! That’s why we’ve updated out Bounty Hunter class guide with new information on skills, vehicles, and more!

The Bounty Hunter is your high DPS (damage) class that has less defense and aggro management then the main tanks. The Bounty Hunter also has the ability to stealth and use attacks from the shadows. Having most of it's focus on damage, the Bounty Hunter makes for a fierce force that can easily sneak up and take out any target. Not only that, but Bounty Hunters are given the fastest and most mobile vehicles, giving up armor and weapon size for speed and stealth. Don't let their vehicles fool you though, they are a tough challenge for anybody and will not go down without a fight!

So hop in that dune-buggy and head down to the just-updated Auto Assault - TenTonHammer Bounty Hunter Class Guide!

  • For the glory of The Changed!

The Mutant class "Avenger" gets the full treatment at Auto Assault – TenTonHammer. We have a brand new class guide up featuring the Avenger and nothing but the Avenger. The skills, chassis info, and much more are available in our new Avenger class guide!

The Avenger class is the rogue / stealthy type of the Mutant race. They can use Contamination (called "Blood" by the Mutants) to hide themselves and then use attacks based around insects from this shadow of Contamination. A lot of their attacks use mutated insects to swarm their enemies to different effects (snares, damage, debuffs). Hey, lots of explosions AND insects AND bikes, what more could you ask for?

Stop hiding behind the Contamination and head on over to the Auto Assault - TenTonHammer Avenger Class Guide!
