  • WoW Ten Ton Hammer Site cleaned of Gold Selling Links

We here at Ten Ton Hammer strive to no matter what keep you within a gold free network. We've gone through our site with a fine tooth comb and removed all of the lingering outside links to secondary market supporters (like ThottBot) to ensure that you never have to step foot on any site that supports gold sellers. As always, if you
see any link to the secondary market then contact anyone here at Ten Ton Hammer (you can reach me at xerin@tentonhammer.com) and we'll make sure it's removed asap.

The entire Ten Ton Hammer network is a GOLD FREE SITE. We prefer to support the developers making these fine games then those profiting off of the developers hard work. If you want to know more about our stance on the secondary market then check out this press-release detailing why we will never allow links to any site that supports the secondary market industry.

  • Still Thinking...

Still thinking on an army to pick for Warhammer Fantasy, Ratboy continues the discussion as to what he should play. Between the infamous & improper suggestions of Yiffing and other more gamer related thoughts, Ratboy vows to make a choice.

So by now most of you should assume that I’ve finished choosing what new army I’m going to play for Warhammer Fantasy, and to tell you the straight up truth; I haven’t. I have no idea what army I am going to play for this new edition of Fantasy as I’ve been pulled in several different directions by the advice of different players and friends. So this week’s entry will continue my plight of trying to pick a Fantasy army.

  • Tons of New Choices!

Yet another press release starts the morning from the makers of Lineage II as they offer us more information about what we can expect in the upcoming Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood. Today's release talks about the new weapons that will be available.

Lineage® II: The Chaotic Chronicle offers a wide range of weapons for every class type. The choice of weapon can affect how hard you hit if you’re a fighter, or, if you’re a spellcaster, how much damage your spells do. Chronicle 5: Oath of Blood offers even more weapons and a new twist: a blood-stained sword designed especially for Player vs. Player combat.

Keep reading to learn more. Do you play Lineage II? Are you looking forward to this next chronicle? Head over to the forums here at Ten Ton Hammer and share your thoughts with us.

  • Endgame, the game after the game, the find some friends or create an alt time, the raiding era... is the inevitable conclusion to spending countless hours leveling your character to the maximum in most MMO games. You have spent weeks, months and maybe even years reaching the level cap in your game of choice. Hard encounters that were developed for a few people at a time are replaced by encounters that are orders of magnitude more difficult, requiring many players to complete.
Most players partake in raiding for a number of reasons; the feeling of accomplishment that is attained by conquering endgame encounters, the prestige that goes with being able to defeat the toughest mobs in the game and the opportunity to receive loot superior to those players who do not raid are some of the more prominent justifications for putting 20, 40, 60 or more people together in one virtual place to attempt a virtual feat. Raiding is where both the individual and group measuring of e-penises really comes to the forefront, pun intended. Just having the guild-tag of a endgame raiding guild over their head is enough for some players. Raiding may well be one of the hardest parts of a MMOG to explain to a person who doesn't play MMOGs. No matter how much you may think you are on cruise control for cool while expounding the virtues of your latest raid to a non-player, all they hear is, "Geek...gurbledeeeegoooop...geek...geek...geek."
Razorfen, DKP, kryptonite, seven exclusive MMOG articles and much more are but a click away. Loading... September 8, 2006 [DKP Edition]

  • Freshen the Air

Is it possible to hate a quest more at mid-level? If it is, I'm sure I don't know about it. Freshen the Air is one of those quests that many groups avoid because of its tedious nature and unwieldy difficulty. Since so many people think it's difficult for its level, we decided we should bring you a quest guide that makes life easier.

"Your first battle comes as you enter the clutch and are greeted by a trio of troglodyte shamans. Don't let them lure you further into their lair. Have a caster hit them with Web and mow them down where they stand."

What are you waiting for? Get clicking and check out the rest of this guide! Have you done this quest before? Share your adventures with us in the forums at DDO Ten Ton Hammer.

  • Four New Videos Released

When Brad McQuaid gets the bug to show off his game in development...he acts on it in a big way. Some may call it impulsive. We call it tons of video goodness for anxious Vanguard: Saga of Heroes fans. We're showing off four new videos created by Brad McQuaid himself, as well as Sigil dev, Jerrith. Both provide notes on their video settings and how the videos were taken. Ready to see what the real game looks like and not some polished PR video? Check it out!

"As before, these mini-videos do not take the place of the bigger Marketing/PR plan we are working on. These are for people who already know about Vanguard and want to get a glimpse of where we’re at and how Beta 3 is going in general." - Brad McQuaid

Check out this first video and then head over to see the second group of three vidoes. When you're done watching them, share your thoughts with us in the forums at Vanguard Ten Ton Hammer.

  • Coyote Strikes Again

An oldie, but a goodie this week. People have asked us time and time again - "Where the HELL did you find Coyote?" or even more often "What started him doing this stuff?" Well, honestly, we didn't know until we stumbled across this buried deep within the bowels of the internet. Before the stories, before the mock interviews, and even before the "boobie" obsession, it seems that Coyote, deep down inside...just liked to screw with people. So if you want to know his true orgins, or perhaps you just want some classic EQ1 memories, check out this week's article - The Vetlar Saga.

When I am bored, I am quickly prone to Mischief. So, in my boredom I created a new character. A level 1 Iksar Monk named VETLAR, which I quickly ran over to the Dreadlands in hopes of amusing myself. (For those of you who don't know, Veltar is a 60 monk in Dreadlands and scares people spitless. VETLAR is a level 1 me, who is "not so much" in the scary department.)

  • WoW Ten Ton Hammer's Guide to Razorfen Downs

The team on our WoW Community site has put together a new guide for you! Keep reading to learn more...

I sat down to right a new guide the other day and decided to go back to some mid level content that doesn't get much coverage anymore, yet many people still play it that are either new to the game or going through again with alts. Therefore this guide is for all you players going through the game for the 5th, 6th or even 20th time! I am writing the guide hoping that more people will explore Razorfen Downs, which has always been one of my favorite instances. It's been a favorite mainly due to the fact that it was someplace I felt completely useful as a Paladin. The instance is full of undead for you to completely pwn. Ok, back on topic, the instance while very fun sees very little traffic due to the fact that it is located deep in Horde territory, and there are more Alliance players than Horde players.

For those that have never been to the instance it's worth the trip just to see the undead skeleton mosh pit!

Get clicking to learn more about this instance. Have you played here before? Share your adventures with us in the forums at WoW Ten Ton Hammer.
