Ten Ton Hammer

  • New Exclusive Screenshot

Brad McQuaid, CEO of Sigil Games Online, just gave me the nod to post a brand new screenshot to go with my Bandits on Lomshir Plain beta journal. This is a gorgeous shot of Dark Horse Downs (and my Varathari Psionicist) at sunset. It was taken on medium graphics quality settings and gives you an idea of how stunning the game can look even with a mid-range video card (mine is an nVidia 6800 GT OC). Check out the beta journal, if you haven’t already, and the brand new shiny screenshot!

  • Kadrin Valley Zone Overview

Along with the recently released Warhammer Online Newsletter came information on the new zone of Kadrin Valley. Not being one to keep information from our loving masses, we here at WAR Ten Ton Hammer have decided to give you the details on this new zone.

Along with the information on this new zone are associated images as well as our own Ten Ton Thoughts. So if you're interested in the Valley of the Slayers, this page is for you.

Slayers are awesome. There is no other way to describe this zone as the home of slayers in Warhammer Online. So if a logical Vulcan were reading this we can assume that Kadrin Valley is awesome. With not only Slayers and Greenskins fighting each other, we also have bands of Dark & High Elves fighting their continual war in the valley as well. To top it all off; being the road to the Empire, Kadrin Valley is also a good place for Chaos and Humans to start some fighting good times.

Don't miss a thing about this new overview! Head over to Warhammer Ten Ton Hammer for all the latest news, overviews and information on Warhammer Online!

  • Dwarven Engineer and the Goblin Squig Herder

Today we have two new Class Overview pages up for reader consumption. Going with the recent Newsletter release from Mythic we've thrown up descriptions and media for the two new classes; the Dwarven Engineer and the Goblin Squig Herder.

Guns guns guns. Oh, I suppose it’s important to note that grenades and artillery will play a big part in the Engineer’s overall roll for Warhammer Online. As a ranged class that is capable of unleashing high levels of damage at medium to short range, the Engineer will prove invaluable for people looking to be able to take down a super powerful tanking class.

  • The Prancing Pony

The official site for Lord of the Rings Online has been updated with another installment of Exploring Middle-earth. This time we get a look at the Prancing Pony.

Upon arrival in Bree, weary travelers will want to make for the Prancing Pony, one of the town's oldest and most popular inns. The distinctive sign of a rearing, fat white pony marks the large building with its inviting arched entrance and pleasant courtyard, although it is likely that the sign will not be entirely necessary –as most seasoned travelers can direct those new to town to "The Pony," as is it commonly known.
