  • I feel privileged to work in the gaming industry. It is truly a joy. With that in mind I thought it was time to give back to the community with a public service announcement. The announcement today applies only to Americans. In an effort to make public an event that the vast majority of Americans are oblivious to. An event of epic proportions. An event so important to the rest of the world that entire countries shut down in its honour. Yet this event goes unnoticed, swept under the rug and hidden from the public in the United States.
Public Service Announcement! [Insert Doot, doot, doot sound] The U.S. plays in the World Cup today. Moving on...
Heck, let's throw another public service announcement out. This time it serves notice to all MMOG players. I'm here to tell you about the greatest game you have never played. That game my friends is called Auto Assault. If you haven't tried this title then do yourself a favour and give it a shot. Think of it like legalized road rage on steroids. Mazdas with mortars. Camaros with cruise missiles.
Post-apocalyptic mayhem, betrayal, twister and more are but a click away.

  • Hero Preview and Screenshots

GameZone posted a preview of Hero Online.

If there is one game that Hero Online can best be equated to emulate, it would be Diablo II. The game is, by default, a third-person hack ‘n slash. It is easy to jump into and play, and it is rather entertaining.

  • Easter comes early to Dark and Light.
17 lucky explorers in the recently released title Dark and Light won themselves free lifetime memberships.

"“The thousands of players who registered for our Settlers of Ganareth pre-opening phase stood by our game through some challenging times. These free memberships, given to the winners of the “Dragon of the Apocalypse” quest, are one way for us to thank people who involved themselves in Dark and Light,” said Frederick Caille, CEO of Farlan Entertainment. “With other favors and perks planned for the future, we encourage our loyal fans to continue experiencing the fun and adventure that is Dark and Light.” "

The Dark and Light PR team had this to say about that.

"Farlan Entertainment, publisher of Dark and Light£, The Largest MMORPG You’ve Ever Seen!, announced today that a special thanks has just been extended to seventeen intrepid Settlers of Ganareth players who saved the land of Ganareth from the fearsome “Dragons of the Apocalypse.” Beginning last week these players, each resourceful enough to locate one dragon’s egg secreted away somewhere within Ganareth, are eligible to activate a free lifetime membership to Dark and Light using their Dark and Light activation key, thereby enabling them to play at no cost for as long as Dark and Light exists.
“The thousands of players who registered for our Settlers of Ganareth pre-opening phase stood by our game through some challenging times. These free memberships, given to the winners of the “Dragon of the Apocalypse” quest, are one way for us to thank people who involved themselves in Dark and Light,” said Frederick Caille, CEO of Farlan Entertainment. “With other favors and perks planned for the future, we encourage our loyal fans to continue experiencing the fun and adventure that is Dark and Light.”

Settlers who undertook the quest were asked to decipher clues from enigmas issued by an oracle. These enigmas, issued weekly, eventually led seventeen players to eggs that were hidden by the evil Dragoon in his attempt to launch a new race of terrifying, cross-bred dragons—creatures certain to inflict mayhem throughout the land of Ganareth.

    About Dark and Light:
