Ten Ton Hammer

  • Furies are unquestionably the most offensive and popular of all the priest classes in EverQuest 2. Keeping a handle on their abilities can be a little tricky though. Fortunately, EQ2 TenTonHammer has updated our Fury Spell list and Spell Progression table to include the Kingdom of Sky spells and the revamped LU#18 level 1-20 spells.

  • With a hammer and a prayer...

Think healers are wimps that can't hold their own in a fight? Think again! Zed offers up some suggestions for playing a cleric in Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO) that's at home in the trenches with the front-line fighters--the battle cleric. Read his guide to learn how to create a cleric whose healing skills are secondary to his defensive and fighting skills.

The battle cleric joins the front rank fighters in the thick of battle. His spells focus on self and party combat buffs. For all accounts, he would be as armed and armored as any fighter--heavy weapons, shields, full plate. Healing is secondary to the battle cleric, only being used when group members drop dangerously low in health.

  • Mobs, Inc.

It slices, it dices, but most importantly, it puts your kids to sleep? Krunnk introduces to the newest technological advancement in parenting: The Krunnk in the Closet. This hot new product will be all over Norrath before you know it!

"You got kiddies who not listen? They stay up when they should be a’sleep? You just not know what to do?" A large Ogre stares into the camera as he reads slowly and mechanically from a cue-card.
"Then you need Krunnk in Closet." He affirms as he theatrically points to himself with a meaty thumb and smiles widely showing a mouth full of wicked teeth.

Courtesy of our very own EverQuest 2 funny man Coyote Sharptongue, you can read about this fascinating product at EverQuest 2 - TenTonHammer!

  • What's wrong with the Rangers?

A few weeks ago at EverQuest 2 - TenTonHammer, our humor writer Coyote had a little fun at the expense of the Rangers. While we don't apologize for it (mostly because it was freaking hillarious), it did occur to us that not everyone might understand what changed with the rangers and why they were so upset. So, after Coyote stirred up the hornet's nest, I threw Savanja in there like Sam Fisher to stealithily gather intelligence. She came back with a great interview.

Savanja: First, I'd like to know what made you decide to play a Ranger, and what your favorite aspects of the class were/are?

Kaeros: I could write whole pages on that question alone. :) I've played a lot of RPGs and similar fantasy games, and if there's an option to be a ranger, I'm a ranger. Always have been, since back when I first played D&D as a young kid. So creating a ranger as my first EQ2 character was a no-brainer, and I did so when I first tried the game out over a year ago. I didn't know how the ranger concept would manifest in this particular game, but I knew I had to start with my favorite class and see how SOE interpreted it. I've always liked the association with nature and the outdoors, the solitary nature of rangers, and the kind of mystique that surrounds those who prefer to live outside settlements and normal society.

  • Anticipating Some Memories

Merriandra takes a last look at Virtual Memories at Vanguard - TenTonHammer with In Anticipation: The Promise of Memories

It is true that we, as gamers, will never be as unsophisticated as we were in the early days of UO or EQ. I look at it as a progressive ladder, like my experiences on the first day of school. My first day of high school was completely different than my first day of kindergarten, and yet they both inspired fear, and anticipation, and a sense that something better was just over the horizon.

Make some memories with Vanguard - TenTonHammer while we all eagerly anticipate Vanguard's release later this year.

  • Are you an efficient biomechanical modern man?

Do you drink grease and rinse your hair in transmission fluid? Hopefully not; we definitely wouldn't advise you to do so! However if your character in Auto Assault does then why not check out our revamped Biomek section? Contains all of the transmission fluid fashion — err I mean contains Biomek skills, information, and other efficent things.

Hundreds of years ago a strange contamination began mutating Humans.
At first these "sick" Humans were taken to camps for treatment.
However, they didn't care much for how they were being treated. So the
"Mutants" began to rebel against the non-mutated. Humanity was no
match for these new stronger, faster, better Humans. It was decided
that taking various Humans and augmenting them to be stronger then the
Mutant force would help quell the uprising. They took in college
students, soldiers, really anybody and began to replace their body

I, for one, welcome our new biomek overlords. Check out the biomek basics at Auto Assault - TenTonHammer!
