Second Life will be integrating Firefox browsing in a coming release. We are pretty sure that they wrote this:

" The virtual world of Second Life will leverage an embedded version of Mozilla Firefox in a future release, supporting in-world web browsing and the display of web pages on the surfaces of 3D objects, according to developers Linden Lab. "

  • Please, if the sun rises tomorrow take a few minutes and get a World of Warcraft review out there so folks can tell if it's good or not.
Quandary has written a review of World of Warcraft. They might have written this:

"So before I start this review I have to say that I can't compare WOW with any other MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), and please excuse me if I get any of the jargon wrong. What I intend to do is call on my long experience of CRPGs. I should also point out that I am playing on a pve (player vs. environment) as opposed to a pvp (player vs. player) server, so not once have I been attacked by another player outside of duelling which I've tried a couple of times. So life is easy in this respect."

  • London becomes the gate to Hell. Beirut vows to climb back to the #1 spot.
Game Method has writted a preview about Hellgate: London the FPS/MMOG. They may have written this:

" In the game you’ll meet up with other humans in the tunnels, equip your character with weapons and armor, then form a party and head out into the demon-infested wastelands above. Through the game’s missions, you’ll work to do your part to push back the demons and save the human race. During the game’s single player campaign, you’ll meet up with fellow survivors underground to gather intelligence and rest; whereas playing online, you’ll team up with other players to wreak havoc upon the demons residing above. As in other massively multiplayer games like Guild Wars and Phantasy Star Online, the central “town” areas (tunnels in this case) will be the only places where you’ll see a large number of characters; once you leave town, you’ll rarely encounter anything other than demons "

  • If you play Guild Wars, for the love of Pete please write a review about it. There are hardly any out there. /cough
The Armchair Empire reviews Guild Wars. We are relatively confident that they wrote this:

"For all of the accolades that online RPGs have gotten over the years, there has always been a chorus of gamers who say, “Well, that’s cool and all, but I’m not paying a monthly fee for one of these things.”  Enter Guild Wars, which takes this whole pay-to-play concept and tosses it out the window.  This in and of itself is a pretty neat approach an online role-playing, but it doesn’t mean a whole lot if the rest of the game isn’t very good.  Thankfully that isn’t the case here, as Guild Wars provides wonderful visuals, well-paced battles, a story that players actually want to learn more about, and a very strong player versus player component, all of which can be enjoyed with others, or all by your lonesome if you’re so inclined."

  • War Lore.
New lore has been posted on the Guild Wars Official Site. They may have written this:

"Across the gorge, four Krytan merchants were fighting for their lives. Surrounded on three sides, a flock of six birdlike creatures slashed at them with swords, axes, and claws."

  • R2 without the D2.
The Saga of Ryzom team has posted a developers' letter discussing the Ryzom Ring. It's likely that they wrote this:

"Hello! My name is David COHEN CORVAL (“Kaeru”) and I am the Creative Director on the Saga of Ryzom. We have decided with Jessica Mulligan (our Executive Producer on SoR) to publish weekly letters to openly discuss SoR with you on a variety of topics."

  • In this case, look directly into the SUN. GamersHell has posted a new SUN movie along with some screenshots. We think they wrote this: "Webzen has released the first six screenshots and a movie of SUN, showcasing their game which will incorporate console-style game mechanics into a classic MMORPG. Unlike most MMORPGs, SUN allows players to strategically set the stage for battles by choosing different types of maps, entry numbers, degrees of difficulty and types of monsters for the ultimate customized game play experience. Additionally, advanced community tools allow players to communicate within a village and experience various kinds of economic affairs. SUN will be released in Korea in Q3 2005." • London = Hell. It's the traffic circles that caused it I'm sure. Fragland has posted a preview of Hellgate: London. They for sure wrote the following, maybe: "When looking at the title, it's fairly obvious where this first-person RPG (and not a FPS, like is commonly believed) is situated. Hellgate: London starts out in a not so distant future, where demons are roaming freely in the English capital. As was to be expected, it's your task to "wipe them out, all of them". Ok, enough of these stupid Darth Vader jokes, I'll get back to business." Read the entire Hellgate: London preview at Fragland.
