En Masse Details TERA Account Tiers for Free-to-Play

Posted Mon, Jan 28, 2013 by Martuk

TERA is making the switch to free-to-play next month and En Masse Entertainment has revealed more about its new payment model and the perks that come with each for players. Subscription MMORPGs that make the jump to free-to-play often have three tiers for players to choose from and TERA is no different, but En Masse has put together some extra perks for anyone that has ever purchased the full game, even if they don’t subscribe.

Players that have purchased a retail or digital version of TERA, known in the new model as Founders, can keep their 8 character slots, up from 2 on the free accounts. Founders also have the most bank slots available with 288 while Standard free players and Elite subscribers begin with 72 and the option to purchase more. Check out the account chart for more details on each of the three account tiers.

If you would like to take advantage of the Founder status offer, make sure to do so soon. Digital sales will be discontinued following the free-to-play conversion in February.
