TERA Reveals Closed Beta 3 Details and New Contests

Posted Thu, Mar 08, 2012 by Martuk

TERA heads to its third closed beta phase tomorrow for another weekend of testing and fun. En Masse Entertainment has posted new details about the event and some of the PvP changes returning players can expect to see, one of which is the new Infamy point system that has been put in place to discourage killing characters well below your level. Let’s just see if they can avoid running into the same kind of problem that Age of Conan did when they tried something similar.

Additionally, En Masse Entertainment has launched a new contest for the remaining closed beta phases of TERA that could earn you some nifty prizes. All you have to do is create some targeted original video or image work each remaining beta phase. There's also a chance to let skill be the deciding factor by reaching the max level in each coming beta phase with this weekend's cap being boosted to 32. Head over and read up on the contest rules to find out how you can win.

Check out the full post for TERA's closed beta 3 for more details along with a recap from the second closed beta event.
