  • As Tabula Rasa continues until launch, more and more is being released about Player vs Player content. NCSoft announced today that leaderboards are being added to gauge the level of "pwning" in game. In addition, they have put up screenshots of what the individual and clan based combat winners lists will look like on the website.

  • The Tabula Rasa team has uncovered some unsavory scammers so CuppaJo gave everyone a reminder about being careful who you purchase your pre-orders from. Specifically they referred to "auction" sales which may or may not mean ebay, but the moral of the story is, if you purchase online make sure to use a reputable company you are familiar with.

  • NCSoft has released Designer Diary #4 from Paul Sage who goes into one of Tabula Rasa's most interesting features, Cloning. This mechanic allows players to make an identical duplicate of their character so they can go back and choose a different path later. Sage explains the reasoning behind the process and how it works over at Gamespot.

  • The Official Site has provided us with another awesome looking screenshot this week. From the Warden Bot Facility (which I'm assuming is on Areaki) this shows a Commando moving into position to beat down some bad guys. According to the site, he is going after "penal bots" (you can deny it but I know you giggled too). Hopefully that's a typo.

    Here is the official announcement.

  • Do you want to play for free? Doy! Who doesn't? Tabula Rasa is offering you just that opportunity and all you have to do is jump through a couple hoops. First, you'll need to pre-order the game which is only $5 so stop procrastinating. Next, you'll need to get a character to level 15 which isn't a heavy investment and finally you'll need to actually buy the retail game and activate a subscription.

Now if I've read this correctly, you get 30 free days for pre-order, 30 days free trial, and an additional 10 days? That adds up to... a lot of days!
