Correction: 64% of people who filled in the exit survey and checked off "going to play AoC/WAR" returned. Which is probably pretty close to the same return rate that every established MMO sees when a new game is released.

Let me repeat: on a high traffic WAR forum ZERO out of 105 people said they were going to give up on WAR.
There is NO other game that has had that kind of positive reception, including that big ol' game that shall remain nameless. The most minor of minor bugs would have at least a few people bashing the hell out of the game.
Whoever is telling you this is a buggy release is flat out wrong. And the graphics, while not top of the heap, are far from "shit."
It is played in first person, and you can shoot things... but it is NOT a first-person shooter. It's an RPG through and through.
