That seems to be the speculation of some. But who knows, they may have something else up their sleeve all together.
Thanks for the thoughts Metal and the comparison to the NGE was more of an observation in similar update types. =) I'll be the first to say I have no idea how this will go over but the community forum posts I have read are mixed, which is surprising in a lot of ways. You don't often see support for a character wipe.
Gotta love the sense of humor around here. We go all out.

I have to say I have experienced my share of disorienting movies and not all as a child. Lobster Man From Mars comes to mind. A movie clearly deserving of the Ed Wood film award. Talk about rocking chairs. Evil Dead 2. Bruce Cambell and the possessed hand for the win. Of course if we look at clowns. I have to say Stephen King's It and one of my all time favorite B movies, "Killer Clowns from Outer Space." How can you not be freaked out by alien clowns in a big top space ship that zaps a small towns people with laser guns that turn them into cotton candy that then has a clown stick a straw in said cotton candy and drink all its blood.
