The Xbox One ships out at midnight tonight and here are a few things to know about the next generation of Microsoft’s console.
Strider will request you gain the aid of allies and return to him. Upon doing so he will transport you and your party to an instance of Ost Baranor. There you will aid in the battle against Amdir and the Blackwolds. Strider and Langlin a fellow ranger will break off from the party taking a different path. You and your allies will be left to follow the ranger Torthann. The battles flow fairly quick and are not to difficult as you encounter several Blackwolds along your path. A ways in you will reach a circular alter and engage a summoned Wight. After dispatching the enemy Torthann will stop for a moment and allow you to rest. When you are ready, speak with him and he will open the gate leading up a set of stairs. When you reach the top you will see the Nazgul finishing their conversion of Amdir. Aragorn and Langlin will show up and chase them off leaving you to deal with Eogan a servant of Angmar. Once he is defeated, Amdir will rise in red garments appearing as a wraith. Defeat him and speak with Torthann to complete the instance. Return to Strider at the Prancing Pony and speak with him to complete the chapter.
You know I despise the secondary market and hate it with every fiber of my MMO being. That said I could live with an exchange server type thing, but the day mmos become a place that you have to buy your way through to play, get gear, or anything other than just playing the game and earning the gear, and beating the challenges will be the end of my mmo days. It was a fun run and I loved it, but I am notrich and I don't have money to just sling at virtual goods. I understand they want to cash in on the market, but If they do that by making it the only option I am sure i won't be the only player they lose.
I truly just don't understand some folks. I don't even understand the motivation for that. Unless you have a legit claim or evidence that is just asking for trouble. Might see that from the legal team It just might fall under a slander lawsuit type deal. I'm no lawyer, but I would say its a possibility they might push that.
I can't count the times i have seen people try and hand off violence to movies and video games. Event the blame technology one a bit higher got my attention. Truthfully it is true kids have always died, been violent, or killed others. Its not new its simply more highlighted now than any other point in history. Do some research, read some studies, and check things out. In a class i recently took we had to review a section in our text book with a series of studies done on a generational basis. Guess what, this generation though it seems like it according to the news has some of the lowest crime rates among kids and its dropping. Feel free to check my source the book is Game Development Essentials by Jeanne Novak and the studies are all done by a variety of sources in the book and can be confirmed as such.
I don't think technology, video games, or even tv and movies are to blame for violence. Grant it in a nut cases hands a lighter can talk to them and tell em to do things, but we're not gonna outlaw those either. People are afraid of 1 word its called responsibility. They shoot someone they say the game made me do it or the Rice Krispies called me chicken. As the OP stated its nothing new. This has gone on through the ages.
