Cryptic’s
Champions Online
is a hectic-paced game.
There’s no doubt
about that. And amid all the chaos on your screen, you might find it
hard to organize and keep up with your fellow heroes...
The Power Sets in Champions Online are designed in such a way as to be independent from one another, but that doesn’t mean Cryptic intentionally made it so players have to stick to one set and...

The subject of reviewing videogames has long been a touchy subject among the hobby’s fans. More than console or standalone titles, MMOGs are extremely tricky beasts to review. There are around...
I've got to figure out a way to lose some of my verbositude though... yes, I made that word up. That is, if I ever want to match his Witfullness Supreme... I made that one up too. Larson could say so much without saying anything sometimes. It always astonished me as a kid and even still as an adult.
Still, looking at my early stuff from my Lost in Hyboria days, I do have to remember I've come a long way already.
I still remember my early days in WoW, playing with a guild of gamers who had been long participants of the beta program, and though they tried desperately to show me around and get me up to speed the truth is I often made mistakes like this early on. This was back when fishing could net you green items out the wazoo, so it was doubly painful because the trek back to somewhere I could buy one was long and arduous for my little level 17 self.
Anyway, enough reminiscing. Goob & Begud are well on their way to Northrend now, and it's about time.
MMOGs are getting more variety by the month as we reported recently. It seems that in the not too distant future, no MMOG player will be left without an option that fits exactly what they're looking for. Now if only someone would make a "Barry Gordy's The Last Dragon" MMO for yours truly.
Is that cheap? I mean, it's not like I resorted to farts for a laugh.
(Mental note: Next week, use farts.)
Anyway, I've got the guys in Menethil now as you might be able to tell by the blurred background. Getting there with my new lowbie Hunter was a bit rough until I realized I can take boats all over Azeroth now. My how things have changed in a few months' time.

This is the first time our "heroes" have gotten one of their good deeds right... mostly. But hey, there were no impaled cats, no launched old ladies, no heavy metal wigs, and no sweater-vests.
They're catching on!
