The sad part is...people actually believed these people. After going through your last blog's links to F13 and whatnot...it was fairly easy to see that these guys aren't the most trustworthy crowd.
Anyway, this puts EVE back in the spotlight and may bring more people in for CCP.
While to me...this is a death sentence for VG, but the facts still stand that it wasn't ready for release. I hope that other developers look at this and see the true reason that the game failed. That being that it was buggy, poorly optimized, and not ready for release. But I know that someone will look and say that VG wasn't enough like WoW and that's why it failed.
There is a lesson to be learned, and hopefully other devs get the right message.
WoW has lost alot of appeal...I actually canceled my account for 1 month or so. Went back to EVE and enjoyed it...but still found out that I don't have enough time to get the most out of EVE (love the game still). I also tried the world tour of Lotr: O, and I must say that I was impressed. But alas I'm back at WoW, decided to go to the other faction and I'm having fun.
Why did I go back? Well...turns out it's not much fun playing with out Aurael. And since her job is reporting on WoW...
The link is correct on the PR article, but not the blog itself to be more specific....could just be me though.
Sorry Boom...your link to Cody's list just comes back to this Blog otherwise...ya :)
