You can find a a "Primal Ooze" in Un'Goro Crater, i found some arounf the slithering scar and the tar pits.
Let the ooze attack you.
Release the Currupted ooze
The two oozez will merge to create a Gargantuan Ooze the same level as the Primal Ooze.
Kill it (warning - it splits into two)
Loot it.
Return to UC for 7050 XP and your choice of quest reward.
Although it's a warming thought that IGE may go under, this is just an anomymous quote that could have been posted by anyone. I won't be ordering the party hats just yet.
I think someone trying to induct me into a cult just outside of San Francisco airport, which led me to jump on the first bus passing which then dumped me in a rather run down area with a few groups of guys all wearing the same colour jacket at 11pm wins this one.

Any chance you could find out a time line and/or tentative release schedule for Tabula Rasa?

I've been told the tools can spawn at one of three locations.
Skulk Rock, the Creeping Ruins and the ruins east of the Blood Elf buildings.
Also that the tools are in a small bucket, so you have to look very hard for them.
After having completely emptied all these spots of all oozes and slimes at least 12 times with no tools, i give up. Deleted this quest last night.
