If you are in the public eye, or EVER in print, you are on somebody's hate list. It seems to be human nature to hate those whom we disagree with, or perhaps who just serve as a target for our hatred. Present company excepted, of course. ;)
I would think MMO cybering would be a juvenile thing, considering older players would realize avatars usually aren't what they seem. Who knows who lurks behind all those attractive pixels, hehe.
I'm a member of Saga of Ryzom, and have tried the Ryzom Ring. I created a scenario, minus all the details of scripting etc. I just played around with placing items, NPCs and mobs of enemies. I spent three hours on it and can say the Ring is very well done and will be a great devloping tool for creative players.
