You don't need buff totems anymore, they are passive abilities that are a part of your shaman's aura at all times with NO cooldowns. So the totems that are left are situational utility totems. Plus you can gain the talent to actually pick a specific place to put down some of your totems. I like the new system, it's more situational and when you use it for a while, you will see why the big "all four totems at one time" button set-up isn't needed anymore in MoP.
