Gazillion Entertainment and Marvel revealed the writer for their upcoming superhero-based MMOG Marvel Universe yesterday at a live stream event from San Francisco. Tapped to deliver the story for the game is comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis, who has been credited for work on a number of Marvel comics, including: Ultimate Marvel universe, Ultimate Spider-Man, New Avengers and more.

A few other pieces of interesting information also came out of the event. Marvel Universe will be developed by internal Gazillion Studio Secret Identity and will utilize the free-to-play model. The team is aiming for a high quality and highly accessible game. Rather than creating their own superheroes, players will get to play as one of the many established heroes of the Marvel universe. You can watch the first part of the video on the official Marvel website.
