If you’ve been keeping up with the Pearl Abyss developed Black Desert Online, you probably already have a good idea at how visually impressive the sandbox MMORPG continues to look, but it's not slacking in features either. Black Desert’s closed beta recently got underway in South Korea, and EQHammer’s mistress of druidic magic, Shayalyn, who once described Black Desert as what you would get if “Vindictus and Guild Wars 2 had a love child,” managed to spot some new videos circulating the tubes of the Internet from the South Korea closed beta that kicked off earlier today. While we usually only do one video in our VotD, today you’ll get seconds (and thirds, fourths, and fifths).
The videos come courtesy of MMO Cast, who provided a look at Black Desert’s opening cinematic, jumping, fishing, and questing systems with plans to release more videos as testing continues.
If you liked all that, be sure to check out the beta article from MMO Cast and keep a check on their YouTube channel for more videos soon to come. On a side note, any game that gives you the ability to chokeslam a goblin is already off to a good start.
If you've got a video you'd love to see featured as our Video of the Day, drop me a link at martuk[AT]tentonhammer.com. You can also tweet me @TTHTuk on Twitter.
