Twisting, turning, through the Nether.
Halloween is just around the corner and Phosphor Games will be opening up early access to Nether, an online survival shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world. Not unlike DayZ, Nether tasks players with scavenging for supplies to survive, craft, and fight off other players out for an easy score at your expense as well as mutated creatures known as the Nether, who would like nothing more than to serve up your innards with some fava beans and nice Chianti. Hannibal Lecter reference aside, Nethers latest video shows a visual improvement from its last, offering a preview of the latest map changes, gameplay, PvP, and new Nethers. Its enough to land it on our video for today.
Nether preorders are now available in two flavors: Believer Package ($29.99) and Chosen Package ($49.99). Both options provide players with early access to Nether starting on Thursday, October 31, 2013 and include Nether Gold and extra beta keys for friends. The pricier Chosen Package grants more of both, an exclusive in-game item, and a special highlighted name and rank for the official forums.
Halloween just feels like the right time for a good horror game so whats on your play list for next week? Do you have your own list of horror games lined up for Halloween, or will you be stepping into Nether?
