Gearing up in the World of Warcraft takes a lot of time and effort, and it's pinnacle is the gear available in the last raid of each expansion. This time around, that means the gear found in the Dragon Soul raid. Unlike most end raids though this one is open to a huge number of players since it is the first to use the new Looking for Raid (LFR) or Raid Finder tool. This means that far more players than normal will be gearing up with end-game gear in preparation for the next expansion Mists of Pandaria.
This time in addition to more players having access to the end-game gear, there is more of it as well. This is due to most of the gear being available in three different forms. These forms are the ilevel 384 LFR version, the ilevel 397 normal raid version, and the ilevel 410 heroic raid versions. In addition some of the items dropped by Deathwing are an even slightly higher ilevel.
This guide is aimed at all the Paladin players experiencing end game raiding for the first time, so lists the items available in the LFR version of Dragon Soul. For players that are raiding the normal or heroic version, in most cases it is just a difference of ilevel on the gear and not different gear required, so you are generally just looking for the same items in a higher item level.
You can find all the items listed below, and more, on PlayerScore.
