Venomhide
Ravasaur

To
gain this mount
travel to the Un’Goro Crater and seek out Mor’vek
at
the edge of the Crater, just south east of Fire Plume Ridge.
Mor’vek will offer you several easy quests to complete. Once
you have proven yourself to Mor’vek by completing his quests
he will offer you a Venomhide Ravasaur hatchling for you to raise. For
the hatchling to fully mature, you will need to collect 20 of
it’s baby teeth. The baby teeth are obtained by doing the
daily quest offered to you by the hatchling (rather easy collection
quests). Once you have collected all 20 teeth, bring them, 20
Runecloth, 80 Gold and 20 Rugged
Leather back to Mor’vek for
the saddle to your new mount. Keep in mind the teeth are given as a
reward for a daily quest, so it will take you 20 days (at least) to get
your mount.

While
doing the quest chains
in Storm Peaks you will find yourself turned at one point into one of
the Hyldnir (think big beefy blue women). Completing the quests
associated with the Hyldnir are not only essential to progression in
the zone but will also open up a few daily quests. When these daily
quests are completed players will receive Hyldnir Spoils. Inside this
bag players will find gold, various junk items (snowballs, food, ect),
and perhaps if they are very lucky the
Reins of the White Polar Bear. Don’t expect this to drop on
your first try though, as this white beauty has around a 1%
drop
rate. Complete the
daily quests here every day to up your chances of getting this awesome
mount. How exactly the bear fits inside this bag remains a mystery.

The four quests needed to open up the daily quests are:

mount will cost 1600 Gold, and is only available at Exalted reputation.
To achieve Exalted status, run Slave Pens, or Underbog if
you  can and turn in all the Unidentified Plant Parts you
possibly can. These drop off of most the mobs in Zangermarsh. Once
you’ve reached Honored you can no longer turn in the Plant
parts, so make the most of it while you can.  Once you reach
Honored, if you haven’t done them already, now would be the
best time to knock out all the quests available from the Cenarion
Expedition. Also during this time you should turn in any Uncatalogued
Species you have previously found.

Telaar (Alliance), or from Provisioner Nasela in Garadar. Both NPCs can
be found in Nagrand. This mount requires you to be Exalted with either
the Kurenai or Mag’har depending on if you are Alliance or
Horde. There are only so many quests that will give you this reputation
so be prepared to kill a lot of Ogres. Ogres can be found in various
places throughout Nagrand and will randomly drop War Beads. Once you
collect 10, turn in the Beards for reputation, repeat until you reach
Exalted. Riding Talbuks cost 56G, while War Talbuks can be purchased
for slightly more at 80G. Mounts can be purchased in Cobalt, Silver,

Can be caught while fishing in Northrend fishing pools, this mount only
increases your speed (60%) while you are in water. On land you will
find that it really does move like a turtle.

Reminiscent of Dr. Robutnik’s vehicle of choice in the Sonic
games, this head drops from Yogg-Saron 25 man, if you have no Keepers
assisting you. This is a very fast…head.

Only available during Brewfest, these mounts have a chance to drop off
Coren Direbrew in Blackrock Depths. While the mounts are rather rare,
both mounts can occasionally drop at the same time, from the same kill.

These Brooms are rather common drop from the Headless Horseman, a
summon able boss that can be found in Scarlet Monastery during the
Hallows End holiday. These brooms automatically become a flying mount
when used in Outland or Northrend. These mounts sadly only have a 14
day duration and will then vanish from your bags.

Dropped by the Headless Horseman in Scarlet Monastery during the
Hallow’s End holiday event these mounts scale themselves to
the riding skill of the rider. These mounts will fly when the rider is
in Outland or Northrend. A very rare mount indeed with less than a 2%
drop rate.

This nifty little motor bike can be crafted for you by an Engineer.
However you will find that it will cost you quite a bit of gold in the
process. The materials are none too cheap, and will take some time to
collect. I don’t think we will be seeing these selling
consistently on the AH anytime soon.

Tournament Mounts

The Argent Tournament provides many mounts for every kind of taste.
Simply gain the correct faction for the mount you want, and collect
enough Champions Seals to purchase the mount of your choice.
