Looking to restore your health in a speedy and efficient manner? Look no more! First Aid allows you to restore your health in and out of combat. Spend less time between fights, duck behind a bush and restore your hp, and much more! While your at it, take a look at our First Aid guide that's just been updated with even more information so that you can get the most of the First Aid skill!
"First Aid is a skill that allows you to craft and use bandages from cloth (generally obtained from Humanoid enemies). Bandages, like their application in real life, allow you to restore your characters hit points. Like most restoration abilities, bandages can only be used when nothing is hitting you. Even with this limitation, they are still very valuable in both during and after combat."
Our editorial theme this week is "back to school", and WoW @ Ten Ton Hammer staffer Greg "Doogmeister" Wood weighs in with a critical look at how Blizzard treats new World of Warcraft players. Are tutorial pop-ups and "breadcrumbing" quests enough, or is there room for improvement?
"Right from the start, the game is offering you useful advice in the pop-up boxes. For example, telling you how to find quest givers, loot corpses and engage enemies. As new experiences come up in the game, there continue to be pop-up boxes giving you instructions. Even in the later stages of the game, pop-up confirmation text (eg. when you will change an enchant/item improvement) reminds even the more experienced players of something they may have overlooked."
GamePro.com was about to get a Q&A with Blizzard's Jeff Kaplan recently. Keep reading to find out how things are looking for the upcoming expansion.

GamePro: How does Blizzard provide such consistent after-publish support? How do you outdo pretty much everyone else with bug-fixes, balancing, and new content?
We now have a complete guide to the 10-man instance known as Upper Blackrock Lair (UBRS). UBRS is home to Nefarian's army of evil black dragonkin along with the Blackrock Orcs under his control. Our guide contains all of the information and tactics you need to claim both victory and plenty of good loot!
"Upper Blackrock Spire (commonly referred to as UBRS) is a sprawling 10-man instance locked away within the Blackrock Mountains. Similar to Blackwing Lair (BWL), Blackrock Spire was once one of the strongest strongholds for the Dark Iron Dwarves. However, it has a new owner. The nefarious Nefarian now controls it and is using it as a staging ground to amass his army. The upper level is designed for ten players inside of a raid that are all above level fifty-seven. The upper level contains a wealth of gear that is needed for Molten Core along with the ability to complete quests related to the attunement for Onyxia's Lair and BWL."
Within the depths of the dread Naxxramas lurks a master of the blade who has been corrupted by the Scourge. He now spends his day teaching new Death Knights the ways of the sword, creating new threats to Eastern Kingdoms on a daily basis. We've updated our Naxxramas guide to aid anyone in their noble quest to slay this evil known as Instructor Razuvious. Truly a master of the sword, he has the ability to nearly one hit anyone who stands in his way. Through trickery alone can you defeat this evil road block on your path to the terrifying lich, Kel'Thuzad.
"Mind Control is a spell that sits within the Priest's Shadow discipline and is rarely used within raid instances. However, this encounter requires a Priest to use Mind Control on one of Razuvious's understudies and uses them to attack Razuvious himself. This is because no matter the defense, Razuvious one to two hits anyone. This is why Shadow spec'd Priests are heavily desired for this encounter."
Our latest instance guide covers the sprawling instance of Dire Maul currently under control by scary demons, a wacky Orge gang, and magic thirsty Elves. We've got a complete walkthrough of each of the three wings containing plenty of information to slay your enemies and get through this instance quickly and efficiently!
"Dire Maul is located in the middle of Feralas, along the northern border. The entrance is guarded by the fierce Gordok Orges. This isn't a problem as most of them are low level and easily avoidable. As for the entrances to each wing, the west and north entrances are all the way at the very northern tip of the courtyard while the east entrance is toward the eastern side. The north and west wing are locked, requiring a key from the eastern wing to open (only one person needs to open it, the doors can be opened from the inside via a torch on the wall)."

Teldrassil, a lonely yet hauntingly beautiful island in Northern Kalimdor, is where the Night Elves of the Alliance faction begin their story. At WoW - Ten Ton Hammer, we offer the "cliff's notes" to that story, tailored to young Night Elves who are eager to leave behind Teldrassil's claustrophobic confines and /dance straight into the action on the mainland.
"Quests in Teldrassil do an excellent job of "breadcrumbing" adventurers from place to place. Don't get bogged down chasing quest objectives; especially at early levels. Rather, accumulate as many quests as you can and look for ways to complete several objectives from more than one quest with one trip out of town. For example, you should speak with Gilshalan Windwalker and Dirania Silvershine in Ardrassil before heading towards Shadowthread Cave since both of their quests ("Webwood Venom" and "A Friend in Need") will progress based on things you'll find at or near the cave."

We've gone through our Scholomance guide and updated all of the information to better reflected recent instance changes. Everything from forming your group until the last boss fight has been looked over and updated with even more helpful information!
"When you first enter Scholomance you will find yourself on a set of stairs. This is a safe zone where you are free to buff up and get ready to fight. The entrance to the actual combat area is guarded by two Risen Warders so take those out and open the door. Quickly pull the patrols of Risen Warders who'll come up near the door, into the
room you first walk into. Next, go to the stairs and have your rogue/s sap some of the humanoids down to the left, and your mages sheep pull, deal with the humanoids. Avoid fighting in the main room area since some enemies have an AoE fear which can cause you to aggro several groups of enemies. It's best to fight on the stairs with your melee at the bottom and ranged at the top. Now deal with the group on the other side of the door on the bottom floor."
