We brew and brew and the orders keep coming in.  The skills
must be raised further!

POTIONS FOR THE POTION GOD!  Or something.

Alchemy
Tier 3 is an exciting place.  You'll have more options for
leveling
than before and more interesting creations to sell!  Most of
all,
there's money to be made.  Alchemy is cheap to produce and
cheap to
farm for in general, and this part is no different.  You're
actually
getting to a level of alchemy that can produce items that people will
cherish all the way to end game PvP!

Relish
the thought of a full bank account, for it can be yours.  If
you are
planning on leveling Aether Extraction, now is the time to do
it.  You
can maximize your profits to an extreme if you farm the aether needed
for this as well.  The only profession that can challenge the
cost vs.
profit level of alchemy is Cooking, and the items for cooking are far
more limited in real use and can lead to market saturation.
But we
don't care about that, we're here to concoct some mixes for the masses!

200-240

There
are two real options here.  Option number one is to do the
same thing
you've always done for this level range -- pound out those elemental
waters!   By this route, it takes a little under a
thousand elemental
stones to make it happen.  That will be far cheaper than your
alternative, which is Temporal Stones.  Temporal Stones will
always be
in demand in the economy since they power the artifacts of the
Abyss.
Again, the route to pick is highly dependent on the economy of your
server and how prices are fluctuating.   Do a little
research during
the week before you level alchemy and you'll
have your answer.

241-255

I
hope you're leveling Vitality Extraction.  Finally we're
getting into
the realm of potions that don't suck.  You'll be cranking
Greater Life
Serum and Greater Mana
Potions for the most part here.  Life potions are a better
option if you're going to grind using them yourself, but Mana
Potions traditionally sell better.  The opposite is true for
the
potions of health, people would generally prefer the quick fix that
will save them from burst damage rather than the slow heal over time
that has issues when interacting with other heals over time.
Once you
get higher, switch to Greater Healing Potions.  The market for
these is
typically far less populated, but just like life potions they have a
great use for yourself.

256-275

Do a combination of work
orders and Greater Wind Serum crafting.  Remember to do the
lowest
available work order to get the most recipes possible for
yourself.
I'd say once you get your level 35 weapons, drop the work order charade
since the recipes for Alchemy generally sell for very little.
Greater
Wind Serum still have a place on the market, and in your
pocket.
Major Wind Serum aren't the end all, remember that.  The more
potent
the wing recovery, the longer the cooldown
Relying on the most potent wind serums could lead to times you need it
and the potion is still cooling--a terrible situation to say the least!

275-299

You
have some more options here as well compared to the other
tiers.
Critical Hit Scrolls are finally coming into their own and granting a
flat 6% boost, although the materials can be expensive.  I
would still
do some work orders unless you plan on using what you produce
yourself.  Flight and Running scrolls are up to 20% and will
provide
you with the most powerful weapon in the
Abyss--mobility.   The reason
I say yourself is .... there isn't a market for these because no one
wants to settle for one step below max speed.  Don't worry,
we'll get
there soon.  If you've had your fill of scrolls, run the
latest work
orders and pick up your level 40 weapon recipes.  You may want
to hold
off on your level 35 weapon production until you're an expert though,
as most people again don't want to settle for something inferior for
the level.

With all of that done, it's time to pay a visit to
the broker and sell off your proceeds.  Extra recipes will
very rarely
sell for more than a couple thousand each, but your actual products
will sell for at least your production costs.  Potions
typically sell
for 2 to 4 times production cost at this level, leading to an awesome
profit margin that we need to afford the next level of
Alchemy!
Prepare yourself for the most grueling part, coming up next!
