What
is APB?

APB
is an upcoming TPS MMOG from Real Time Worlds.

The game is set in a fictional city known as San Paro which has become
rife with crime and violence.

The city’s mayor has passed a law allowing law abiding
citizens to take up arms against the criminals in their city.

Players can choose which side they would rather play as; the lawless
Criminal faction or the Enforcers. Each side will have access to guns,
cars, customization and social interaction not yet seen in any other
game.

Is
style="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">APB style="font-weight: bold;"> a PvE or PvP game?

APB
is definitely a PvP game. This does not mean that everyone is in a free
for all and can kill anyone they want. The game looks at your level and
recent successes and plays match maker, pitting you against others that
have a chance of taking you down. If you continue to win against those,
others will be alerted to come and fight.

have?

How
large are the servers and how do they work?

The game world is split up into both servers and districts. Each server
holds up to 100,000 players and when you begin your character will be
locked into this server.

Within each server are multiple districts which are either action
districts or social districts. Action districts hold up to 100 players
each, and social districts hold up to 250 players.

What's
the difference between action and social districts?

Action districts are where all the "action" takes place. These are the
districts where you will be taking missions and fighting other players.
Social districts are a place for you to hang out and do things like
customize your character and vehicles while taking a break from killing
and looting. There is no fighting in the social districts.

What
kind of customization is there in style="font-style: italic;">APB
?

APB
has a level of customization never seen before in an MMOG. Everything
from clothing designs and the ability to create your own logos, to
truly creating your own tattoos. You can also customize your vehicles
with decals and custom paint jobs. style="font-style: italic;">APB
takes customization to a whole new level.
