…but then again, the fact that I “fell for it” seems more an issue of “perfect timing” than it is of good marketing on SOE’s part. Here’s the story. About a week after AoC launched, I think I decided that the game really wasn’t for me. Yes…it really pained me to come to this conclusion, because theoretically I should be all over AoC, but I’m not. Over the course of last couple of weeks I’ve played WoW and Guild Wars…AND I reinstalled Vanguard as well as EQ2. I seem to be settling in my “old stand by” games of EQ2 and WoW….despite the excellent execution of AoC. Kind of funny…isn’t it.
