I stand by that WildStar still offers some of the best content in any MMO. It’s raids and dungeons are without question, the best in the genre. Combined with the recent changes to daily activities, loot, raid attunements and much more, I’d argue that WildStar is in the best state its ever been. There’s still a lot to do, certainly in terms of PvP and getting players back onto PvP servers and there’s always the need for more content. The only risk I see to the game going free to play is the introduction of yet more currencies, a complicated tier system between signature and free to play and the best cosmetic items placed onto the store. Looking at the list, I never understand why they want to neuter the play experience so much. Having said that, I think the positives of WildStar going free to play far outweigh the negatives. It’ll bring in a new audience, bring back old players and most importantly, increase revenue as the shift to free to play always do.

What are your thoughts on WildStar going free to play? Will it bring you back to the game?
