Enchanters could very well be the best underplayed class in EverQuest II.
With unbelievable soloing power and huge group appeal, this mage can handle just
about anything they take on. If you've decided to play one of these great
classes then you may be looking for an equally great alternate advancement
build. We've scoured the 'net and talked to our favorite Illusionist and Coercer
friends to get advice that you can use. Keep these AA specs as is, or just as
easily tailor them to suit your personal needs, either way you're starting point
for an AA build is here!

Illusionist

Enchanter Line (100 pts)

  • STR (4, 8, 10, 1, 8)
  • AGI (4, 10, 10)
  • STA (-)
  • WIS (-)
  • INT (6, 10, 10, 1, 8)

Illusionist Line (100 pts)

Focus on your Penetration, Time, and Enchanting lines. Pick up the SF end
abilities Chronomagic, Rain of Colors, Chromatic Thundershower, Arms of
Imagination, Mental Awareness, and Time Warp.

Illusionist Shadows Line (70 pts)

Take whatever strikes your fancy in the General line (power and health are
most helpful). In the Mage line, pick up Runic Protection, Strike of the Mage,
Arcane Barrier, and Bewilderment. In the Enchanter line, take Defensive
Enchantment, Mental Torment, Silent Thoughts, and Peace of Mind. For the
Illusionist line you'll want Runic Barrier, Shocking Rays, Mental Focus, and
Destructive Rampage.

Coercer

Enchanter Line (100 pts)

  • STR (4, 10, 10, 1, 8)
  • AGI (4, 4, 8)
  • STA (-)
  • WIS (4, 4, 4)
  • INT (4, 8, 10, 1, 8)

Coercer Line (100 pts)

Put your points primarily in your Resistances, Mana, and Coercion lines. Grab
the SF abilities Increased Velocity, Simple Minded, Conceited Blast, Peaceful
Hostility, and Coercive Shout.

Coercer Shadows Line (70 pts)

General take health and power (unless you can really use something else in
place of power). For the Mage line grab Runic Protection, Strike of the Mage,
Masters Strike (if you use it), and Bewilderment. In the Enchanter line put your
points into Defensive Enchantment, Mental Torment, Silent Thoughts, and Peace of
Mind. For the Coercer line pick up Shield of Runes, Mental Blast, Depressed
Thoughts, Psychic Blast, and Intellectual Remedy.
