Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (FFXIV) Producer/Director Naoki Yoshida has penned his 48th Letter from the Producer this week to update players on the ongoing work to prep the MMORPG for its upcoming revamped relaunch next month. Yoshida describes the current scene around the development studio as one of “a bedlam of system schematics, game designs, and empty Red Bull cans

Jokes aside, Yoshida delved into addressing player feedback from phase 3 of beta. The team has been working to squash as many bugs as possible and Yoshida touched on the addition of more story content and life beyond the level cap and what players can expect from the studio in the future. Yoshida ended the letter by teasing a few new screenshots and addressed questions about the relic weapons from FFXIV 1.0.

Yoshida will also be holding another Live Letter from the Producer on August 8th, 2013 to field more questions from the community in a livestream event.
