Get ready to take some shameless selfies! In Patch 6.1 the S.E.L.F.I.E Camera will be introduced into the game. Along with the camera will come several filters and even an achievement that will grant you a brand new title; Field Photographer! Want to know more about taking some spectacular in-game selfies and earning the achievement? Just read onward to find out everything you need to know!

S.E.L.F.I.E Camera

You can obtain your very first S.E.L.F.I.E Camera through a specific mission in your Garrison. Entitled, Field Photography, this mission costs 20 Garrison Resources to complete. The mission takes 4 hours and requires 1 Follower to complete and is Level 100. This camera is just the basics, allowing you to take pictures of your character without any of the cool filters. Remember, this mission will randomly appear just like any other, so don't panic if it is not immediately available.

S.E.L.F.I.E Lens Upgrade Kit

To get the upgraded version of the S.E.L.F.I.E Camera, players will need to complete another mission; Lens Some Hands. This mission will not be available until after you have completed the Field Photography mission. The Lens Some Hands mission takes 4 hours to complete, requires one Follower and also awards 150 experience to your Follower (if applicable). After the mission is complete you will be awarded with the S.E.L.F.I.E Lens Upgrade Kit. This kit upgrades your camera to the epic toy; S.E.L.F.I.E Camera MkII.

The new and improved camera will allow you to choose from three distinct filters that will give you pictures a new look:

  • Sketch Filter
  • Black and White
  • Death Filter

Taking a S.E.L.F.I.E

The S.E.L.F.I.E Camera is a toy and as such, it can always be located in your Toy Collection. When you click on the camera it will open a special camera mode on your screen. A special UI will pop up at the bottom of the screen that looks much like the vehicle UI. One button will snap a picture and the three others will let you choose from one of the three filters (if you have obtained the upgraded camera).

While in this mode, your character will make various faces at the camera (including duck face!), just like a real person would do in a real life selfie. Remember, if you manage to snap the perfect picture you can now Tweet the selfie with ease using the new Twitter Integration.
