Patch 6.1 has brought a host of new additions big and small to the game. If you are an avid mount collector, you know that some of those new additions came in the form of several mounts that are unique to this particular patch. With a total of four unique mounts (that we currently know of), this patch gives collectors the opportunity to buff up their collections.

Want to know more about these brand spanking new mounts and where to collect them? Read onward to learn everything you need to know to be able to call these mounts your very own!

Chauffeured Mechano-Hog/Mekgineer's Chopper

Patch 6.1 introduces the first every mount to be usable by players at level 1. The Chauffeured Machano-Hog (Horde) and Chauffeured Mekgineer's Chopper (Alliance) resemble the engineering choppers bearing similar names and are ground-only mounts. The difference here? These new bikes come with their very own chauffeurs.

Ready to make this mount your very own and be chauffeured around the world in style? No problem! Obtaining this mount just takes the completion of an achievement; Heirloom Hoarder. This achievement requires you to collect 35 Heirloom items, not such a difficult task since many are now purchasable for gold. After you have completed the achievement the mount will appear in your mailbox.

This achievement is account wide and so every character on your account will have access to the faction appropriate version of this mount once it is completed. Remember, this mount can be used even at level 1. So stop walking and get to riding in style in the sidecar of this fantastic new mount!

Mystic Runesaber

The Mystic Runesaber is the only mount on this list that is currently not yet available in Patch 6.1. However, the masses (and the Mounts tab) seem to all agree that we will be seeing this mount at some point in this expansion. A ground only mount, rumor has it that this glowing purple panther will be making an appearance very, very soon, so keep an eye out!

Looking much like the Jewel crafting mounts, such as the Jeweled Onyx Panther, this mount becomes something special with it's delightful purple hue. Want to add this mount to your collection? The Mystic Runesaber will be available in all it's purple goodness at the Blizzard Store. Price of this mount is currently unknown.

Cindermane Charger

The Cindermane Charger is one of those mounts you see and just have to have. A flaming horse, supposedly created by Ragnaros himself, this mount is an impressive sight. An extra bonus? The Cindermane Charger is both a ground and flying mount. This stallion's wings expand and vanish again based on which mode of transport you are currently using.

Players wishing to get this mount will need to do so through the recruit a friend system. This system allows you to send an invitation by e-mail to a friend. Once they accept and create an account, you will be linked together so they can easily find you in-game. If your friend likes the game, buys a full copy of the game and pays for two full months of game time, you get to cash in. Not only will you get this mount, you will also get 30 days of FREE game time.

Voidtalon of the Dark Star

The Voidtalon of the Dark Star mount is quite possibly one of the most difficult to obtain mounts in the game. With that being said, if you do manage to get this mount, you will be the envy of all your friends. The Voidtalon resembles the Flametalon of Alysrazor and this ground-only mount totally rocks.

How do you make this spectacular bird your own? It seems like the answer is dumb luck. Players are reporting that this mount is obtained by entering a portal that spawns randomly around Draenor. This portal leads to a mini-instance that contains a single egg that you can loot.

Not much other information is available on the subject. However, it seems like this is one mount you will not be able to camp to obtain. For the moment, this portal seems to spawn at totally random locations. With no method behind the madness, this could become one of the rarest mounts in the game.

Which mount will you be collecting first? Do you have any hints, tips, or tricks to obtaining any of the mounts now available in Patch 6.1? If so, be sure to share them with the community in the comments section below!
