Hello and welcome to the 25th edition of Gaming with Uncle Lester! Im your host of todays show, Uncle Lester. Im not normally one to worry too much about threats. Assuming I understood her correctly through the screaming, I think I heard pimp, cut off your, and pray for death, so my ass is outta here this morning!
Before I go running away though, its time to throw two superheroes from Marvel into the Pit of Eternal Geeknation and see who comes out on top! This week? I'm pitting Doctor Octopus (aka Doc Ock) against Omega Red. One tentacled combatant of immense intellect, the other a warrior through and through, it's time to throw them in The Pit, so let's go!
On the left, sporting the green outfit and four metal tentacles, it's Doctor Octopus. He may have been raised as a mamas boy, but after his failed romance with a woman named Mary and his mothers subsequent death, this one time timid scientist became a ruthless villain. With a brilliant mind and four additional arms of titanium at his side, he has wreaked havoc within the world of Marvel. The arms are capable of immense strength and are resistant to all known forms of radiation. Doc Ock may not be the most powerful villain in the world, but due to his expertise in atomic physics, some very powerful superheroes owe him including the Fantastic Four. Will it be enough to tip the balance in his favor against his Pit of Eternal Geekdom opponent?
On the right, wearing red and silver armor and sporting two nearly indestructible metal whips, stands Omega Red. This mutant of the Cold War has caused more deaths than anyone can calculate. Before being recruited by the Russian KGB for an experiment that turned him into a being of immense power, he was a serial killer. After the experiment to turn him into a Russian super soldier, Omega Red gained the tentacles and the ability to drain the life from his victims with them. Since Omega Red needs to do this to survive, hes become pretty damned proficient at it.
Its up to you to decide! Two of the most tentacled characters the comic universe has ever known. If we threw them into a pit and forced them to fight it out, who would end up the victor and whose corpse would be left to rot in the sand? Vote for your favorites here!
