BioWare has been teasing details about a secret reveal for their next project to be announced at Spike TV's Video Game Awards over the last few weeks and they didn't disappoint. At this weekend's VGA, EA and BioWare announced Mass Effect 3, the third installment to their epic sci-fi RPG Mass Effect saga. Along with the announcement comes a new trailer titled "Earth", which shows humanity's last stand against an invading alien race that only Commander Shepard can save them from (Reapers perhaps?). Mass Effect 3 is scheduled for a global launch in 2011 and will release simultaneous for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
