Perfect World is bringing Neverwinter to PAX East later this month and attendees of the event will have the chance to get some hands-on time with the MMORPG’s Great Weapon Fighter class at one of the 18 playable stations at the event. Players will have the chance to see the other classes in action during demos at the event along with a number of prize giveaways.

In addition to the chance to try out Neverwinter’s final beta event at PAX East, attendees will also be treated to a visit from best-selling fantasy author R.A. Salvatore, who will be promoting his new novel, The Last Threshold: Neverwinter Saga, Book IV.

Neverwinter Lead Producer Andy Velasquez will be one of several industry developers that will also be taking part in a PAX East panel discussion titled “The Future of Online Gaming” hosted by MMORPG at PAX East on March 22nd at 5:30pm ET.

In true Dungeons & Dragons fashion, attendees get to meet R.A. Salvatore, New York Times best-selling author of the popular Forgotten Realms® series The Legend of Drizzt®. Salvatore is promoting his latest novel, The Last Threshold, Neverwinter Saga, Book IV, set to release on March 5. He will be available for a book signing on March 22 and March 23 from 3- 4 p.m EST at the Neverwinter booth.
