Even Xur can't deny the pull of social media these days as he took to Instagram to showcase some of the new weapons and armor that will be included in Destiny Year 2. While we didn't get any stats on the new pieces, we did get a good preview of what they will look like and what types of gear they are.

The quick look included an Exotic Titan helmet, Hunter Gauntlets, Warlock Chest Piece, 2 Fusion Rifles and a Shotgun all of which can be seen in the offical Instagram feed. 

While there was no rocket launchers on hand that would have possibly replaced the soon to be retired Gjallahorn, the new gear did look extremely neat, with each piece looking like it came from a completely different source than the other. Another item of note is the Heeavy Class Fusion Rifle which until now did not exist. Once can only guess at this point, but I can't help but imagine a suped up spartan laser when I think of the words heavy fusion rifle.
