Bungie will be taking to social media to reveal some of the latest expansions exotics at some point today. The announcement was made via their instagram account where a cryptic Xur informed followers of an impending info dump today. 

The Instagram post read:

My will is not my own, Guardian. The Nine have commanded me to reveal Exotic treasures you may discover in your future. I will speak with you tomorrow. - Xûr, Agent of the Nine

Some feel that this could mean that he will appear in the tower to chow off the new items, but if Bungie is sticking with how they originally showed off the games weapons it's more likely to be dont on Instagram or Twitter.

There has been much controversy surrounding Destiny's exotics as it was previously said that all weapons no matter when they were introduced in the game could be used in all future expansions. Bungie has recently changed their tune, stating that many of the games legendary and several of it's exotic weapons will not be able to upgrade to the new year 2 levels.
