The Iron Banner will be returning to Destiny Tuesday June 2, with some tweaks and changes to make progression a little easier for those who don't have a whole lot of time to sink into it. Any guardians who have a low Iron Banner Rank will receive a reputation boost to all of their reputation gains made.

In addition to the experience boost there have also been some inventory changes to Lord Saladin, and an accross the board reduction in Glimmer cost for the items. The biggest change is that Etheric Light will be available for purchase from the Iron Banner Vendor. If you're unfamiliar with Etheric Light, it's used to upgrade your old legendary gear up to the new House of Wolves standards.
The Iron Banner goes live right after the Tuesday reset is complete.
