Even if you haven’t heard of Gamerz for Gamerz yet, chances are many of you will be familiar with its founders. Michelle Butler and Cindy Bowens have been a very active part of MMO communities since the earliest days of the industry, and have formed a new company to provide networking, communication, and event services for gamers and developers.

Both Michelle and Cindy have a very long history within the MMO industry, and many of you may remember them for their work on titles such as EverQuest, EverQuest II, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, RIFT, and countless others. The team at Ten Ton Hammer is pretty excited to see what magic tricks this dynamic duo is hiding up its sleeves!

To help celebrate the launch of the new company, Gamerz for Gamerz will be hosting a Halloween party on Saturday, October 31. Full details for the event will be announced soon, so you’ll want to visit the official Events page for additional info. This is also likely to be just the first of many events the G4G team has planned, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted as any details become available.

As noted in the official news post, Michelle and Cindy are known for their killer parties, so you can expect their Halloween party will be well worth attending for those of you in the San Diego area. The exact location is TBA, with the event running from noon through 9:00 PM. Mind you, that’s when the event “officially” ends, but that doesn’t necessarily mean attendees will have to scamper forth into the darkness of night at that point.

In terms of what you can expect from the event, the official word is as follows:

"The Gamerz for Gamerz Halloween Party is our premier event for gamers and game developers. Like all of our future events, our focus is to build and strengthen the video game community. You will not only meet fellow video gamers, you’ll also have the opportunity to participate in activities to help you find and meet new gaming friends and industry professionals. There will be roundtable and panel discussions, a banquet and of course, a costume contest!"

For additional info on the party, there is a brief FAQ you can check out on the official Gamerz for Gamerz website. Be sure to fetch your favorite broomstick and ride that puppy on over to check it out!
