When the Unicorns of Love announced that jungler Mateusz "Kikis" Szkudlarek would be leaving the team, it left their fans quite surprised. It was an unexpected move, but there were apparently differences in opinion about how the game should be played between Kikis and his former teammates, necessitating a roster change.

For the short term, the team turned to former jungler Berk "Gilius" Demir to cover the last two weeks of the Summer Split. However, this was not intended to be a long-term fix, as UoL picked up both Karim "Airwaks" Benghalia and Cho "H0R0" Jae-hwan as substitutes. It seems that the team was very pleased with H0R0's play, and he fit in with them as well. As such, they have decided to name him the starting jungler for the playoffs.

Former SKT T1 S player H0R0 has had an interesting time in Europe, with stints on Millenium and Meet Your Makers. He hasn't yet been on a European team that has seen much success, though now he'll be thrust into the spotlight by starting his time on the Unicorns immediately jumping into the LCS playoffs. This can be risky, as it does take time to build up team synergy. UoL is fighting for a chance to make it to the World Championships, having claimed 2nd place in the Spring Split. They'll be tested right away in the first round of the playoffs by ROCCAT, where they'll get to show off their new acquisition and hopefully have a strong start to their playoff run.
