E3 is a wild and crazy show.

Some companies run over the top circus-like events to draw crowds to their booth.

Some companies have booth babes to attract the weak, weary and opposite sex deprived through the milling masses of humanity to take a look at their game.

Some companies deliver killer games that make you forget about the high-wire acts and the scantily clad ladies.

Those companies are what these awards are all about. I enjoy the circus atmosphere of E3 as much as the next guy, but what I'm still talking about six months later are the games that made my eyes water and my throat dry. The games I can't wait to see released. The games that I can't wait to play.

As a network that only covers MMORPG games you would think that handing out E3 awards would be easy. I mean, how many could there be? The short answer is a lot. E3 this year had a tremendous batch of games created by an incredible group of developers. It was incredibly difficult for the team at TenTonHammer.com to pick just one Best of E3 2005 MMORPG.

Congratulations to Vanguard: Saga of Heroes as the winner of the TenTonHammer.com E3 2005 Best MMORPG.
