Announced yesterday on Blizzard's WoW community site, news that the much-anticipated European Beta is now open for applications!

Prospective European-based candidates can apply by filling out the form located at this link.

Oddly enough, I saw a requirement for applicants to speak French, German or English, but nothing that states you must be living in Europe in order to apply. In fact, the registration form further on lists all kinds of countries outside Europe, including the US, Canada, etc. Is this simply an oversight, or are they allowing people outside Europe to test European-based servers for latency and performance issues? I didn't go further to test it out, just in case they throw out my North American beta application when they see the duplicate; but who knows!
