Global Agenda, soon to enter closed beta, is a near-future MMO shooter built using Unreal Engine 3, but don't let it fool you; this game has plenty in store for the social gamer and the RPG'er. While the first part of this short video shows many of Global Agenda's FPS elements, the Hi-Rez devs then change gears to show you how gamers fight and research their way through the levels and will then work together in player-controlled agencies on a massive scale to vie for world domination.

If while watching the video you get warm, nerdy flashbacks to Tribes, any of the Mechwarrior games, and maybe just a dash of Battlefield 2142, then get a little weak-kneed at the prospect of having it all in an MMO framework, you won't be the only one!
