For those who don't live in the Deep South, this weekend marks the infamous Mardis Gras which Disney intends to celebrate in their own unique with Pirates of the Carribean Online. While they have a series of events planned there will be in game parades through Tortgua every day until Fat Tuesday concludes holiday. Specifics are below:

Join us this weekend, and the days leading up to Fat Tuesday (Feb. 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 from 12PM - 3PM PST) for Mardi Gras!

Our GMs will be in game to celebrate Mardi Gras and get the carnival going! A street parade starts in the center of Tortuga and then proceeds to the beach for a Pirate's Mardi Gras party! Enjoy dancing, roast pork and other surprises! It?s party time! GMs will be roaming the "C" named Oceans (servers). We'll continue roaming the Oceans in alphabetical order after all the bonfires are started on the "C" named Oceans. Plus there may be surprise GM appearances in "A" & "B" titled Oceans. Founder's are encouraged to join us to help lead the parade!

NOTE: This is a ROLE-PLAYING event, GMs will be in character to celebrate Mardi Gras and not answering questions about game updates. Please do not use weapons during this event unless instructed to do so.
