The curfew of San Paro is about to be lifted. APB: Reloaded is on the final road to its new closed beta and this week's APB: Reloaded Blog explains how you can sign up to join the fight. All you need to do is submit your email address on the "stay up to date" section of the APB: Reloaded website and register for a free GamersFirst account.

About 2 weeks before the closed beta begins (which the blog notes as possibly the first week of February) emails will be sent out with a link to register for the closed beta. You'll need to submit a little information and a DxDiag file and once the information is verified, you'll be sent your actual beta key. The blog notes that more than 20,000 emails have already been received and that about 6,000 to 8,000 players will be utilized for the closed beta. Closed beta players will also be getting a mysterious gift for their help in testing the game.

In addition, the blog also states that work is being done to allow former APB players to regain a certain amount of their character's content (names, customization and gear) but will likely not be restoring progression data. Check out the full blog for all the latest details.
