If you are signed up for Rift's newsletter, you probably found a nice little surprise in your inbox yesterday. After Sr. Community Manager Cindy "Abigale" Bowens teased on the official Rift forums this week that the newsletter would contain a "special surprise", last night Trion didn't disappoint, sending out newsletters with VIP beta key codes good for 25 uses. So if you haven't gotten in yet, chances are you probably know someone that can hook you up with a beta code.

Join Rift next week and help fight this thing's monstrosities.

We know you're itching to get back into the Rift beta and beat down those pesky Guardians...I mean rift invasions, and you'll have your chance this coming Tuesday to do either of those two fun little things. But what can you do in the meantime? To give you something to help pass the time, Trion Worlds also released a load of new information about the game this week.

The official Rift website has been updated with new details about the caster nightmare tank Warrior Soul, the Void Knight, and the Cleric Druid and Rogue Saboteur Souls. And finally, with PvP and contested areas taking a deeper role in next week's event, a new PvP developer diary video has been released that highlights some of the dynamic PvP in Rift. Check it out on the official Rift website.
