Spacetime Studios has had pretty good success with their mobile MMORPG, Pocket Legends. But the developer's next project is aiming for the stars with more of a trip into sci-fi territory than fantasy. Last week Spacetime Studios unveiled their latest project, a new franchise for Android and iOS devices called Blackstar. Scheduled to launch during Q2 2011, Blackstar will feature three character classes, robust social features, a story-driven conflict, open-world, multiplayer gameplay and much more.

“Blackstar’s production design and overall polish will be unmatched in mobile gaming,” says Gary Gattis, CEO, Spacetime Studios. "We were able to nurture the IP to its maximum potential through years of development – a luxury never before seen in Mobile gaming. If you ever dreamed of a fully-featured sci-fi MMO that you can take anywhere, look for the first chapter of the Blackstar saga soon.”
