Publishers and game developers alike are continuing to trim the fat and tighten their belts and this can oftentimes lead to the closing of games. Faunasphere, the casual multiplayer online game filled with cute creatures known as Fauna is the latest casualty of 2011. Big Fish Games announced that Faunasphere will officially cease operation on March 15th, 2011. The announcement also notes that players will no longer be charged and that subscriptions payments and purchases made between January 15, 2011 and February 15, 2011 will be refunded.
